16/11/2025📣 Big news…the #Bookbuzz books are here and our Year 7s are receiving their FREE book during library lessons last week and this week coming!
To celebrate we transformed the library into the Bookbuzz Café — smooth jazz, cozy vibes, and plenty of time to dive into their new reads.
So exciting to see our students exploring their new books, and enjoying the atmosphere of reading together.

15/11/2025You've done it again 💪.
Our wonderful Beacon Hill Primary and Woolmer Hill School communities raised over £15,600 at last weeks' fireworks event! We cannot thank you enough!

14/11/2025Anti-bullying week...
This week saw our anti-bullying ambassadors deliver key messages to Year 7 & 8 students about the negative impact of bullying and what can be done in school to prevent it.
Using their oracy skills and the Bedrock anti-bullying vocabulary, students understood that the language used around this issue is incredibly important in order to express themselves and their concerns clearly.
All students have access to 'Safe at Woolmer Hill' on Google classroom where they can find support and guidance about bullying.

13/11/2025On Tuesday, our students were treated to a concert by the jazz duo Rob Luft and Alice Zawadzki. The duo played a range of music from all over the world, in a range of languages and shared their musical knowledge and experiences.
Rob and Alice played as part of the @HHHConcerts Daytime Community Concerts. A central part of their charitable objective is to bring classical music to the community and we are delighted to be part of their ambitious programme.
